How do I set up my FourSide account?
Setting up a FourSide account is easy. By simply using the Sign-Up page, you can supply all the essential information needed for us to set up your Customer website and Management Tools in minutes. Through this sign-up process, you will provide us with information such as: Do you currently have a website? Do you want a unique web address? What is your facility’s name? If you would like assistance with the sign-up process, our customer service team is happy to help you.
What is a unique web address/domain?
A unique web address, also known as a URL (uniform resource locator), is an Internet name that points to to a location where a file, directory or website page is hosted. It looks like www.webname.com. With FourSide Solutions, customers are offered the choice of having a unique web address for an additional fee or using a sub-domain for free. A sub-domain would look like: webname.foursidestorage.com.
An SSL Certificate is a small data file that digitally binds a cryptographic key to an organization’s details. When installed on a web server, it provides a secure connections from a web server to a browser. This is required for our FourSide Solutions customers that want to use a unique web address/domain. Otherwise, if a customer chooses to use the default web address called a sub-domain, our FourSide Solutions customers are secure through the use of our FourSide Solutions SSL certificate.
A merchant account is a bank account that enables the holder to accept credit cards for payment. To set up a merchant account, a business must contact their bank and request a merchant account. They will provide the proper forms. Once processed, your bank will provide you a Merchant ID. This merchant ID is used during set-up to begin receiving credit card payments.
Do I have to have a merchant account?
This is required for FourSide Solutions to offer e-commerce to your customers. Similarly to any online e-commerce website, your customers will be able to see on their credit card statement that transactions were made directly with your company. FourSide Solutions does not hold your customers credit cards in our system. This offers more security for your customers and piece of mind.
How do transfer/migrate my current storage date?
We make the transfer of current storage data easy. Using our unit set-up tool, you are giving the ability to copy data from Microsoft Exel. If you are currently using a storage management tool, we can assist you in exporting the data into Exel and importing the date using the management tool.
Can Fourside help me with set-up?
FourSide Solutions is happy to help you with setup. But more so, we are happy to help you learn the management tools and how the tools offer you the ability to set-up your website, units, and customers. This is accomplished with the use of our ‘Set-up procedure’ found within the management tools and by working with our support team.
Is Fourside Solutions PCI compiant?
Fourside Solutions dose not store any credit card numbers or profiles within the Fourside system at any time. They are processed and stored by the facility’s gateway provider, which can be either Authorize.net or Stripe. Fourside stores only customer tokens to associate future collection transactions with the gateway-stored customer profiles. Both gateways are independently audited annually for PCI compliance.
