How to Automate Pricing
Fourside Solutions offers managers the ability to customize Unit Pricing with an Automated feature! Managers can easily set up pricing automation rules and then “opt in” specific products/unit sizes to follow the schema. Managers can use multiple rule sets per facility, if their use case requires it.
When a manager selects the products/unit sizes to apply to a pricing schema, the system automatically calculates the product/unit pricing to easily see current availability, current price and schema price changes.
- Pricing can be set based on availability
- Rules can be applied to specific unit sizes
- Pricing is calculated from the current average rate of active customers and rounded to the nearest dollar
- No change will be made to rates for active rentals
Publishing Pricing
Price changes will be published to the website for new users to view. Changes to pricing based on schema rules can be scheduled to take affect at a specific time. The default time for any automation to take affect the day it is created at 11:59pm.
Un-Publishing Pricing
You can simple un-check the box at any time to switch back to a static price model.
